Scholarships
High School Scholarships
Pink ImpACT notifies each high school counselor of the available scholarship each year. Once the students apply, Pink ImpACT selects scholarship recipient(s) based on their 200-word essay on How Breast Cancer Has Affected Their Life. Once selected, each counselor is notified of the winner and Pink ImpACT presents the awardee with $1,000 and a scholarship certificate at the high school awards ceremony. The scholarship awarded can go toward a degree plan or a vocational college.
Endowed Scholarships
An endowed scholarship is a major gift to a college used to fund scholarships. This fund is meant to be permanent, so the money donated is never actually spent. Instead, investment income earned from the endowment fund is used to fund the scholarship for years to come. Pink ImpACT’s endowed scholarships are available at both Grayson College & Paris Junior College. To apply, you must go through each college, and the recipient is chosen by the college foundation.
