SCHOLARSHIPS

Pink ImpACT provides scholarships for breast cancer survivors’ dependents and caregivers, helping the next generation pursue higher education.

High School Scholarships

Pink ImpACT notifies high school counselors of available scholarships each year. Students apply and are selected based on a 200-word essay on how breast cancer has affected their life. Each recipient receives $1,000 and a scholarship certificate presented at their high school awards ceremony. The scholarship can go toward a degree plan or vocational college.

Endowed Scholarships

An endowed scholarship is a permanent gift to a college used to fund scholarships. The donated money is never spent — instead, investment income earned from the endowment funds the scholarship for years to come. Pink ImpACT’s endowed scholarships are available at both Grayson College and Paris Junior College. Recipients are chosen by each college’s foundation.

You are considered a survivor the day you are diagnosed with breast cancer. Survivorship lasts longer than treatment — it is your new normal. Pink ImpACT’s founder is certified through Texas Tech in the Change Cycle™ for breast cancer survivors and their caregivers, teaching effective coping and life skills.

Previous Scholarship Winners

Since 2018, Pink ImpACT has proudly awarded scholarships to high school and college students whose families have been affected by breast cancer. Our first scholarship of $4,000 went to a student from Texoma Christian School in Sherman, TX. Today, we have surpassed $80,000 in total scholarship giving with 3 college endowments at Grayson College and Paris Junior College.
